Short calls driving me crazy!

I am receiving 4 or 5 calls a day from Somalia, Somoa, Vanuatu, Poland and Belarus. I alway block to caller, but then they call from another number. The calls always last about 6 seconds, with a recoding of a lady in Arabic. Why am I the lucky one getting bombarded with these calls? I have no idea why they would do this. If it is a scam, I don't understand it, as they dont' get any money out of me. Am I the oly one getting bomarded with these calls?

The latest one I got the other day was from Mauritania, God knows where that is..

I would switch off my phone, but you would probably die if you did that.
