Immigration with reissued passport and visa with old passport no.

@Zraymee you know i am really in a fix with this issue,my employer takes things very slow and its already been very late so i am searching for all the possible solutions to this issue

So this needs to be done by the employer or anyone can do this? Like my friends are there can they submit this and make the required changes

I went to immigration office (i am here in doha) , they have told me to just submit the new passport copy in that immigration office as soon as the new passport becomes available and he would be changing it in the system. I just dont know if it applies to everybody for he still had checked on the visa before confirming that he can access and change it in the system right away.

I have asked my employer to update the visa with new passport details, I contacted the hukoomi service centre which is a government contact point kind of thing. They said the employer needs to raise this issue and they will change the passport details it takes something between 3 to 7 days. So I have asked my employer to do the same. Even I am waiting to hear from my employer.

I guess you can. Keep both the passports with you in hand when you approach immigration at the airport.
