pioneerpec: There is a major problem with the comments coming on this post.

Neither you nor Sharu joice tried to understand the contents of my post but have jumped to put in comments which do not at all in any way reflect what I have tried to say.

I have in no way tried to "advertise" or encourage drinking in my posts. I am totally against both drinking and smoking. No, it is nor because of the religion I follow. My education and upbringing, culture and surroundings, knowledge and understanding of the damages caused by drinking and smoking, that make me abhor the two items. My religion goes on to add to my will power.

Possibly, my English is not so good that it makes it difficult for others to understand what I have tried to convey in my posts.

Suggest, you please read and read my comments over and again. Take the assistance of someone having knowledge of the English language who could explain my views across to you clearer and better.

Acchabaccha...this is your worst post ever...You are even advertising where you can buy alcohol...shame...And everyone who reads this post and benifit where to buy alcohol...you are going to get reward for that....

Allaah has cursed alcohol, and

1. the one who drinks it,

2. the one who pours it,

3. the one who sells it,

4. the one who buys it,

5. the one who squeezes it (squeezes the grapes, etc),

6. the one for whom it is squeezed,

7. the one who carries it

8. and the one to whom it is carried.”

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

Help one another in virtue, righteousness and piety, but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is Severe in punishment

Sharu joice• Think, think and think before you jump and post something.

Yes, people can buy alcohol at an outlet QDC managed by the government but "they need a permit" for this and can drink only at their home till they drop down dead. Is this permit freely and easily available to all? Yes, they can drink at 5 star hotels till bar attendants need to lift them and carry them to their cars.

I replied to a post where a person would be getting just QR 5000 (repeat QR 5000 only) all inclusive as a salary. From where would he able to manage to get a sip of the drink? From bootleggers?

I hope you understand the difference.

achaabaccha, who told you drinking is not allowed in Qatar, then what for bars in star hotels and QDC open for?

You will be spending around QR 400 per month for your food if you decide to cook by yourself and around QR 750 per month if you decide to eat outside. Taxi fares depend on the distance you travel. Bus fares are very cheap and you can travel between two points at QR 3 per trip.

Your savings will all depend on your lifestyle. If you are a non-smoker and a non-drinker you can manage your expenses withing QR 1500 per month. Please note that drinking is not permitted in Qatar. If you are caught drinking, it will lead to penalties, punishments and possibly deportation.
