Can someone help me find a shipping company to ship a chair from US with acceptable rates.

Hello,

I have been searching online for a shipping company to ship a chair from amazon US without paying 3 times the price of the chair it self.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KXSC9MM/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=A25EMYIGO0RE3E&psc=1

It costs $170 which is like 650 QAR.

The chair has a shipping weight of 54.3 pounds (roughly 25 kg).

I sent emails to several shipping companies asking about the rates and no reply, I also checked the rates of 2 popular shipping companies.

Shop and Ship: 1,149.00 QAR

 Q-post: 1725 QAR

I also tried buying from another website called Ubuy and it costs 1900 QAR just for the shipping.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey!

I don't know about the chair specifically, but I've already shipped something on Amazon with a shipping company called DocShipper Qatar and it went well. They offer several shipping options and prices. Maybe you should ask them direcly :)

The link to their company in case you're interested : http://qatar.docshipper.com/

I use amazon usa website and select the filter as 'eligible for international shipping'. I have sent car parts, they come by DHL is 3 to 5 days and are not expensive. however a gaming chair is quite big so might be more I guess.

alternative is google 'shop and ship' and 'drop and ship' there are a few companies who can send it where you order your delivery to a usa address then they forward to you. I have not tried them though.

I also would like to add I never said I wanted to fly one , couldn't care less about how it arrives to Qatar I am sure shipping one on sea is far less cheaper then flying one.

Yes , very stupid of me to ask this question and very stupid of me to actually expect a valid response from anybody. Well, Mr/Ms acchabaccha most of the "Gaming" chairs that are available here are either overpriced , or low quality garbage or completely unknown brands that have no info online or just purely expensive. The only thing that actually was good were the DX Racer ones they sell here for cheaper than their counterparts on amazon but they are still expensive ( cheapest one is 1k riyal), and trust me if I had those 500 Riyal notes stuffed in my pockets I would have bought one already. Guess there was no point in making this post

The question arises, "Why do you need to import a 'chair' all the way from the US when the item is easily available in Doha in almost all qualities, shapes and types?"

Possibly, you are among those people who has suddenly got a lot of 500 riyal notes stuffed in his pocket and does not know what to do with them. I am just guessing.

You are not the only one, as there have been many such posts from people who have suddenly run into a lot of money after arriving in Qatar.

Flying in a "chair" all the way from the USA to Qatar and then asking for "acceptable rates?" Ha! Ha!

Cool down Mahmoud! Qatar is definitely getting a bit hot these days and the effects are showing. .
