I worked as a Network Operation Associate/Network Engineer with Accenture for 2 years and 4 months under project Verizon Business, which is a support function in a company typically engaged in the technical troubleshooting of network problems involving packet switching or the digital data transfer via the network infrastructure which includes isolating and fixing problems in an internet cable or the particular network equipment (router, modems, switches, etc).

 

 

Job Responsibility:

• Ticket handling and management.

• Checking interface status, logs and controller stats of the circuit.

• Checking and verifying circuit routes.

• Checking for higher level troubles (beyond T1 level).

• Doing a continuity test from Provider Edge Router to Customer Edge Router on T1 and DDS/DS0 circuits if it is a down hard issue.

• Doing stress test using multi-test patterns on T1 and DDS/DS0 circuits if the issue is bouncing or errors.

• Logging circuit stats, test results, and actions done on the ticket.

• Creating tickets with the local carrier if the trouble is detected on their equipment.

• Performing head to head test with the local carrier's central office technician if the issue is determined in between Verizon Business and local carrier.

• Checking the Channel Facility Assignment.

• Calling customers to provide updates with regards to their trouble report.

• Taking Inbound calls from the local carrier or the customer.

• Coordinating with the provisioning team and the logical team.

• Maintaining and Monitoring circuit status before closing for the tickets.

• Ensuring that the customer is satisfied with the services of the company.
