NOT CANCELLED VISA - NEW PASSPORT ID

Hi.

I would like to ask. Regarding my passport, it will be expired on June 2019. My QID will be expired on Feb 2019. I will also finish my two years on Feb 2019.

Questions:

1. Can they still renew my QID even if I will not renew my passport becaus I have to go home by February? I heard that my employer is not cancelling visas and renewing QID even if you inform them that you will just finish your 2-years.

2. Can I still apply for new visa and QID even if both were not cancelled and I have already new passport number?

Thank you

Sorry your questions were to abort renewal...

below your answers

Questions:

1. Yes, they can renew your QID even if you not renew passport.

2. You can still apply for new visa with new passport number . but you will have trouble getting ID ..but that you can solve later and those typing centres can do it for you.

You go and come back in new visa

Please note:

You can renew your passport now (No need to wait until expiry).

Qatar ID renewal possible without passport renew.

But exit permit will not be issued...as it will show in system travel Document expired (passport)

Also you will have trouble in airports outside qatar, as your Qatar ID will be showing your old passport number after u renew passport.. (To change passport number in QID you need to pay QAR 100/-)

Best for you, renew passport in february ...after that renew QID in february.
