Good news for vehicle owners as Woqod opens two more fuel stations in the country

Woqod’s opening of two new petrol stations in the country has left motorists feeling a lot happier.
The state-owned petrol company opened two branches — at Lusail-Fox Hills and Hamad International Airport (HIA) — taking its countrywide network of petrol stations to 69, reported Gulf Times.
The openings come as part of the company’s aggressive expansion plans to be able to serve every area in Qatar.
“We’re pleased to open two new petrol stations in Lusail — Fox Hill and Woqod HIA. We aspire to expand our petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products. Our goal is to provide every customer with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort,” Woqod CEO Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi was quoted as saying by The Peninsula.
The Lusail–Fox Hill station is spread over an area of 9,400SqM and has four lanes with 12 dispensers that will serve Lusail City and its neighbourhood.
The Woqod HIA station is spread over an area of 11,700SqM and has four lanes with eight dispensers that will serve those frequenting Doha and its neighbourhood, reported Qatar Tribune.
The number of dispensers have been increased in order to enhance the quality of the service and reduce vehicle congestion at the various petrol stations.
The two new petrol stations will offer round-the-clock services to residents. There will be a Sidra convenience store as well as auto and manual car washes, oil change and tyre repair, LPG cylinder sales, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles at both stations.
