Qatar win gold in beach volleyball and bronze in show jumping team event
Qatar had a good day at the 2018 Asian Games when its athletes won gold, silver and bronze medals in different disciplines.

Qatar’s men’s beach volleyball team, consisting of Ahmed Tijan Janko and Cherif Younousse Samba, defeated the host nation’s Ade Candra Rachmawan and Mohammad Ashfiya in direct sets to claim gold.
The Qatari side won 2-0 (26-24, 21-17) to claim their maiden gold medal.
Qatar win bronze in show jumping team event
The four-member Qatari team, consisting of Hamad Al Attiyah, Salmen Al Suwaidi, Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al Thani and Basem Mohammed, finished third in the show jumping team event.

They collected a total of 20.5 points to finish behind Saudi Arabia (10.90) and Japan (12.74).
Qatar currently has four gold, three silver and two bronze medals.
