Ministry of Economy and Commerce hike fees of parking facilities around Qatar

Qatar’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has increased parking fees of various facilities across the country.
According to the new decision, the fees for parking your vehicle during the first four hours has been fixed at QR3 per hour, reported Qatar Tribune.
The fee for each additional hour has been fixed at QR5. The maximum fee per day is QR70.
The fee for valet parking service will be QR30 for a maximum of three hours, while the fee for VIP parking service is QR60 for the same duration. The fine for losing the ticket will be QR70.
The earlier fee structure had seen a vehicle owner pay QR2 for the first two hours of parking, QR3 for the third and fourth hours and QR5 for each subsequent hours.
No doubt this Qatar blockade has a negative impact on both individuals and companies alike.
I hope the 'brothers' resolve their differences soon.
Prices, cost of living is increasing day by day but the salaries are remaining same whereas the allowances are cutting off! Very bad to hear. Hope they will have some common sense before making those decisions.
there is correction, please note it was only first one hour 2 riyal and after one hour it was 3 next hour was 5, (In city center) also suggest at least 5 minutes extra time should be allowed without additional charges.
