What is the duration for issuing family visa?

I have applied for family visa and my application was submitted on 22/05/2018. They asked me to check for the status in a weeks time and after that I have been regularly checking the status online and offline. The status shows UNDER PROCESS from a that time and it has not changed. Can anyone help me understand why is it taking so long? Is it because of Ramadan or is there any documents missing.

Please advice.

They will take 8 days time.

mostly it is taking 2-3 weeks or even more to get the status change.

If you have submitted all the required documents, you will get approved after that period.
