Woqod fuel stations will start accepting debit and credit cards starting today
Acting on a long standing demand from customers, Qatar Fuel (Woqod), has announced that it will accept debit and credit cards for payments at its fuel stations starting today, reported Gulf Times.
The new Woqod PoS card service, for which it has partnered with QNB, will ‘provide convenience and a better fuelling experience to customers at all Woqod stations.’
The card payment service is being launched in collaboration with QNB, reported The Peninsula.
“This card payment solution initiative comes in line with our ongoing efforts to emphasise market leadership in innovative services and meeting customer’s expectations. We’re excited to collaborate with QNB, as our strategic partnership will provide a broader range of customers with industry-leading services and deliver hassle free and quick service at Woqod stations,” said WOQOD Chief Executive Officer Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi.
He added that Woqod is ‘planning to add many petrol stations in the country to serve the increasing demand’ in the near future.
I fill fuel at woqod at the station between D and C ring and they do not have Card payment.
QLBusiness spreads false news.
When they said, all woqod stations have fuel filled from both side also, the same station did not have the facility for a few months.
Typical.
Anyways, good news about the card facility, hope it starts soon and also works.
Few days back the super fuel pump was not working.
