shipping container from UAE to Doha

We moved to Doha in June, just before the Blockade started, and our container and car got stranded in Abu Dhabi port. In the beginning the shipping company informed us that in a few weeks we would be able to ship our household via Oman, but as time passed they kept coming back at us with new requirements, first, an Omani resident to sign for the container, then that resident had to also have held a resident visa in UAE, all this in order to get an export permit, which, however, is not required to ship to, say, Malaysia or UK. Now, it's already becoming a burden as the family wants to settle, and the kids and wife want their toys and personal things, we are tired of the serviced apartment!

Can anyone provide a contact of someone that can help with this?
