Visa free entry extension process

Does anyone have experience extending the Visa free entry, as allowed by the current rules? I'm assuming that it needs to be done at the airport immigration office, similar to what was required previously with tourist visas. Any insight from anyone with experience would be appreciated. Thanks

visa free extentioin after one month to obtain another 30 days can be don in the atar air ways carko section which is near hamed intl airport immigration dept. ust brink your passport and within 5 minute they will ive you a printout which is mention the validity of visa .
