My name is Jithin MG. I had completed my Masters in Applied Geology from Karnatak University, India in 2015. Prior to that, I did my Bachelor in Geologyalong with Remote sensing & GIS from University of Calicut, India.

I have working experience as a Junior Geologist for a private geophysical consultancy and also worked as an assistant professor in the department of geology in AWH special college. I have ample knowledge and experience in electrical resistivity survey, magnetic survey, Core logging and capable of Geological field studies and water quality testing with basic knowledge in GIS software such as ArcGIS, ArcView, ERDAS etc.

Having completed variety of projects and internship in organisation such as ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation), GSI (Geological Survey of India), Hutti Gold Mine and Company Ltd etc, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of geological mapping, surveying and also collection of field data, coupled with the ability to interpret this data and write detailed reports.

I feel that I am a strong candidate for the position of Geologist, Geotechnical Engineer and also Material Testing laboratory due to my extensive experience in team environment and physically demanding roles, and genuine passion for geology.
