Position: Electrical Engineer (Aug 2012 – Mar 2017)

As an Electrical Engineer, directed efforts of all cabling activities at different sites, coordinates with sourcing and the project team on technical matters to meet project specifications, Leads & coordinating efforts in reviewing technical specifications.

ü  Monitoring day to day LV and HV Cable Scheduling and Laying works.

ü  Laying & Termination of HV & LV Cable and Connection to the HV Switchgear & LV Panels as per KAHRAMAA requirement.

ü  Scheduling KAHRAMAA inspection for testing and commissioning of HV Switchgear & Transformers.

ü  Facilitate conducting of electrical testing works such as continuity, insulation resistance testing for power, control and communication cables.

ü  Preparation of Electrical QA/QC inspection and test records.

ü  Inspects of all types of electrical including duct-banking and cable trenching.

Projects:

1. CONSTRUCTION AND UPGRADING OF RAYYAN ROAD PROJECT 7 – CONTRACT 1 – 66KV CABLE WORKS

Position: Electrical Engineer

Scope of Project includes, Cable laying, Jointing, Civil works related to 66kV Cable Works.

1. SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF ELECTRICAL (LV) CABLES INCLUDING CIVIL WORKS FOR AMWAJ ACCOMMODATION & INFRASTRUCTURE AT ZEKREET DUKHAN

Position: Electrical Engineer

ü  Scope of Project includes Cable Laying, Jointing, Testing, Civil works related to LV Cable Works

1. CONSTRUCTION OF WEST CORRIDOR P010 – PACKAGE 1 , PROJECT ID: IA 12/13 C 054 ST (EHV,HV&MV POWER DISTRIBUTION WORKS)

Position: Electrical Engineer

ü  Scope of Project includes, Cable laying, Jointing, Testing, Civil works related to 11kV Cable Works.

1. 11KV POWER CABLES IN SOUTH SITE WIDE INFRA – C017 (KAHRAMAA SCHEME NO. 18/41/2014 & 4/423/2010)

ü  Scope of Project includes, Cable laying, Jointing, Testing & Commissioning and Civil works related to 11kV Cable Works

1. DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF SOUTH UTILITY TUNNEL FOR QATAR FOUNDATION – EDUCATION CITY

Position: Electrical Engineer

-          Scope of Project includes, Installation, Cable Pulling, Termination, Testing & Commissioning for 11kV Cabling Works

1.  DOHA NORTH SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AND ASSOCIATED WORKS – 11KV EARTHING AND CABLING WORKS, STREET LIGHTING WORKS.

Position: Electrical Engineer

Scope of Project includes, preparation of required trenches/trays, Cable Laying/installation, dressing, tagging/testing, Grounding System, Calculation, etc. for LV/MV (11kV) Cabling works.

1. 400KV CABLE EXPOSING AND SLEWING IN GREEN LINE ELEVATED (MALL OF QATAR)

Position: Electrical Engineer

Scope of Project includes, Cable Exposing, Slewing and Backfilling works.

1.  GREEN LINE UNDERGROUND –   DRY UTILITY DIVERSION WORK AT QATAR NATIONAL LIBRARY STATION.

Position: Electrical Engineer

-          Scope of Project includes, Removal of Existing Street Lightings         , Relocation of Existing Street Lightings, Removal of Existing HV Cables, protection and suspension of 66kv cables.

1. RED LINE SOUTH UNDERGROUND – UM GHUWAILINA STATION, AL MATAR (FORMERLYAMD), OQBA IBN NAFIE (FORMERLY AME).

Position: Electrical Engineer

Scope of Project includes, Installation of protection and suspension bridge for existing 66kv and 220kv cables.

1. QATAR POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM EXPANSION – PHASE 10 S/S PACKAGES S5 & S8 – 220KV CABLE DIVERSION WORK IN AHS S/S.

1. CABLE LAYING,JOINTING,TERMINATION,TESTING & COMMISSIONING OF 11KV POWER CABLES IN SOUTH SITE WIDE INFRA – C017 (KAHRAMAA SCHEME NO.18/41/2014,4/423/2010 & 22/01/2014)

1. SUPPLY & INSTALLATION OF 11KV CABLE WORKS AND ASSOCIATED CIVIL WORKS & CONSTRUCTION OF SUBSTATION – WEST MSA PROJECT – AL UDEID AIRBASE.

1. OREEDOO QATAR NATIONAL FTTX PROJECT FOR ISP PILOT ISP & OSP INSTALLATION WORKS – PHASE II

       Client: HUAWEI / OREEDOO 

       Roles and Responsibilities:

1. With defined SOP, giving guideline to implement the project accordingly right from the ISP to the OSP.
2. For OSP portion, Fixing cable drum, preparation of Manhole, Hand holes, Mini hand holes, JC, Duct Roding, making traction end, laying the cable, site cleaning, numbering of cables, stripping leading in and fixing straight through cables and common cables, fixing drop cables, splicing, standard installation splicing in ODF like leading in optical cable, storing and fixing fiber in termination tray, storing the pigtail and ODTR testing. Fixing FDH, FAT and then structure cabling inside premises, villas and High rise building.
3. To supervise the cable installation team and assist them for installing particular cable like fiber feeder cable, fiber distribution cable and fiber drop cable in a specified ducts and spans of the OSP network.
4. To supervise the fiber optics technician in order to carried out scheduled fiber splicing and testing operation.
5. To ensure the suitable type of ODB install to the customer depending on the number of users in each building.
6. Provide assistance for fiber splicing, laser source and power testing, link testing and documentation etc.
7. Installation of cabinet including number of ODF’s and splitter required in each FDT.
8. Preparation of FAT (Fiber Access Terminal) and Joint Closure inside HH or MH.
9. Labeling of fibers, fiber optic cables, pigtails, patch chords etc. throughout the OSP network.
