Le Mirage to soon open Qatar's first-ever rooftop air-conditioned jogging track
If you are a jogger, you know the joys of being outdoors and being in a constant race against yourself. If you had an opportunity to literally run through the skies, would you, as a jogger be excited?
If news reports are to be believed, then there is a very good chance that you will be able to do just that.
This is because Le Mirage Real Estate is proposing to build Qatar’s first residential project that will have a roof top air-conditioned jogging track, giving its residents a chance to take a bird’s-eye view of the city below them while jogging, reported The Peninsula.
The project, named Le Mirage – Citywalk, is expected to be completed by the end of 2018 and will come up at the Bin Mahmoud area. The jogging track will be set up across five residential buildings.
Le Mirage, the real estate arm of Sharaka Holding, is hoping to complete eight projects, worth a combined QR3bn, by end of 2018. Of them, three projects will be opened by the end of this financial year, reported Qatar Tribune.
“Once all eight projects are completed, an estimated 1,500 new residential units and 500 hotel rooms will be added to Le Mirage’s portfolio. It’ll also increase the total number of Le Mirage residential units to 2000,” Sharaka Holdings General Manager Amer Fares told the newspaper.
Some of Le Mirage’s upcoming projects are Le Mirage-Icon, Le Mirage-Downtown, Le Mirage-Boulevard, Le Mirage Hotel, Le Mirage-Lifestyle and Le Mirage-Vogue and Le Mirage-Marina Drive.
