Buying a Used Car

Hi everyone,

We are new to Qatar and we bought a used BMW through a Qatar Living advertisement.

Metrash has 2 minor accidents related to this car, so we bought it. When we contacted BMW Service Center they said that the car had met with a Major accident. The insurance company also claims that the car had met with a major accident.

I am wondering why this major accident is not displayed in the Metrash app. Has anyone had a similar experience?

In that case, the owner should have paid the money and done it illegally, not the insurance agency. If it is done through insurance, it's legal and they will ask for traffic report

I am wondering,

If the repairs were done illegally, why did the Insurance company provide cash for the illegal repair? Won't this get the Insurance company into trouble?

I was under the impression that Qatar legal system was strict and thus companies/ppl didn't mess around...

It could be they managed to repair it illegally after the accident without informing the police. Hence the accident is not registered. This is a possibility
