VIDEO: Karolina Pliskova wins Qatar Total Open 2017

Amid great fanfare and not much rain, the 2017 Qatar Open concluded on Saturday at Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.

Caroline Wozniacki and Karolina Plíšková faced off in the women's singles final, with the younger Czech player emerging victorious.

It proved to be an evening of many firsts, as she had never beaten the highly ranked Wozniacki before.
