employment clearance for Pakistani Visa

By Hassan Sarwar

hi there,

I have recently cleared all my interviews for a company in Doha, Qatar. They have told me to wait for a few days, as they have applied for a Pakistani's visa from the ministry. I believe they need to get some kind of clearance before issuing a visa. They have also stated that it is " rarely given"

I just wanted to confirm that is it so? are Pakistani passport holders facing some difficulty in getting employment in Qatar?

Hello Hassan,

you'd be damn lucky if u get the work visa, and i pray for u. :)

Whats your profession? and which company you gave your interview in?

Bro, i can pretty much relate with engratiq.

i was on visit visa for 4 months...got 2 job offers but sadly no pak work visas.

whether its a quota system or policy matters!

as britexpat mentioned , also depends on company PRO.

if its a big company and upper mgmt post, u might be lucky.

best wishes ;)

Even I have given interviews in three companies and was selected but they don't have Pakistani visa. The main problem in qatar I'm facing is Of Pakistani visa.

Hope and pray that you get visa

It is quota system here but then again govt. issues less Pakistani visas in comparison to other South Asian countries....

It is all about quotas and availability... It also depends on the ability of the company PRO

Dear Brother, I think that every company has quota for specific nationalities and this prevails across whole GCC. Wait a while and you will get it INSHAA ALLAH.
