Kidzania’s longest aircraft in the region on show at the Aspire Zone
Kidzania's longest aircraft in the region, the Boeing 737-500 AB380 featuring six simulators, has landed at the Aspire Park.
The mega airplane will serve as one of Kidzania’s edutainment facilities when the establishment finally opens its doors in the first quarter of 2018, reported Qatar Tribune.
The aircraft started its travel from the UAE and passed through Saudi Arabia before arriving in Doha.
Qatar Entertainment Company (Tasali), a joint venture of Aspire Zone and Sharaka Holdings, was on hand to celebrate the aircraft’s arrival.
Kidzania, an award-winning edutainment concept, currently has branches in 24 locations across 19 different countries.
Kidzania Doha, once opened, is expected to welcome over 300,000 visitors every year. The facility can accommodate 1,000 children and 250 employees at the same time.
Kidzania promotes itself as an experience for kids by kids. Children aged between four and 14 will be able to play the roles of whoever they want to become in life.
The first Kidzania was opened in Mexico, in 1999.
