Need serious advices.

Hi guys.

Hope all are doing fine. I need some serious advices and comments on the issue i have. Earlier also i posted same but didn't got credible and positive comments. I hope this time it's not gonna b the same.

I was employed here by an Egyptian company ( which i didn't know earlier before i joined)  where 95% staff are from there and rest like us are screwed.

What position i was offered before joining, i didn't got that.

There is no proper management and system of work in this company. Its like they are just hiring slaves to work anyway anywhere they want us to.

I joined this company on 9th October 2016 and they made me sign a 5 years contract.  In the contract when i objected the post they mentioned there, the hr told me that its a common practice here coz companies don't get relevant visas.

After i started work, this turned upside down. May b any other person would have resigned or cancelled within few days but since i had spend money, i thought let me bear it untill my probation.

Now i want to know how is the new law going to help me? Definitely after my probation i am not going to continue in this mess not matter what.

Kindly provide me with genuine and serious advices. I feel a wasted graduate here.

Ps: i am not a home sick. Came here to work leaving my family behind like all others. All i wanted is a good place to work for with proper management and system of work with good staff. Like i been working in previous years.

Thanks.

Ehsaan

@Eshan - You are obviously new to Qatar. look around you will find senior managers in certain companies still possessing Labour Visa. Wake Up.

@Lucky

Obviously the position is same as that of mentioned in the contract. How can a position be different then what is mentioned in contract. In my QID the position is same like what its mentioned in the contract.

"Is my current position mentioned in the contract going to effect me in future?"

The position in your Resident Permit matters not the one in your contract.

New law applies to contracts entered after 15 Dec 2016. in other words 2 year ban is applicable for the contracts entered before 15 Dec. 2016

@brit

Ya that's for sure. But i am trying to gather info first about what could be the possibilities and what should i do. If i resign, am not be able to work for other employer if my current one is not going to give me any NOC ( which either way they dont give). Is it that untill my 5 years contract won't finish, i cant take new job in qatar.

You're looking for "credible" and "positive" comments and we can't give them in this case.

My suggestion is that you visit the Human Rights Commission and discuss the issue with them.

@Lucky

The new law states that there is no ban anymore existing now?

You will get 2 year ban if you resign from the company.
