Hello.

Since the new labor law will be implemented on Dec. 13, 2016.

By that time I will be 7 months working here in qatar.

I just want to know, if ever I will not sign the new contract, will I be able to change jobs and sponsor? If yes, do i have to exit qatar if ever i secured a new job? If not, what will happen if I won't sign the new contract?

My contract will be expired on May 2018. I thought once new labor law is implemented. The old contract will be void.

Anyway, thank you for answering my question. It did help.

From my understanding, the new labour law will require everyone to sign new contracts.

You may resign , but there is no guarantee that you will be able to get a new visa
