Country Club India Fraud and Cheats
While i was in city center mall, Doha with my wife a guy approached me with a coupon for a lucky draw, i filled out the details and on the very next day i received a call from one of the lady officer from country club that you have won 7 days club services on one of our country club in doha, 1 week hotel stay as a vacation with a country of your own choice and the third gift is a food coupon in one of the restaurant in doha for all of this you have to come to our office as we are hosting an event for all of the families who have won the lucky draw. I had a feeling that there is something wrong with all of this, i found out on the internet that this company has a fraud history and they cheat people, is this for real?
How come such a company can operate in doha with all the strict rules, there is no one in the authority taking action against them?
But, they have got the Commercial Registration to operate. What is their approved business activity as per their CR, that needs to be checked.
What can the authorities do .. The people are to blame for such decisions

In the meeting they will say u to pay money like 11000 qr for life mebership in retaj royale hotel and stay in any of the branches of their hotel worlwide .
Yes, it is a total fraud. They are located on the posh Bank Street, Mashreq Bank Building (Upfloor). They have been cheating many many families but they are doing it in such a way that none could take action against them.
When you reach to their office, you would find a dozen of their accomplices (boys and girls), who would first gather personal information about you. Then they would cook a story to encourage you to sign a form agreeing to their membership rules.
Once that form is signed, they would take your bank account debit card to take the fee, there and then, and would take away between Qar. 1,000 to 5000 (Non refundable) depending upon their promise for services that they may arrange with the travel and hotel operators.
Consumer Protection Department is not taking action, because they say that they need at least a complainint to come and file a complaint with us.
You may approach them, if you can make a little effort in order to save the society from this menace, that is on the prowl for several years now, and people keep quiet becuase they had signed the membership forms along with their Qatar ID cards.
May the QL moderate could refer this post to the Consumer Protection Department for taking a quick action.
