Hello everyone.

Need some genuine advice.I am an Indian PP holder and currently in Qatar on a Business/Work Visa. I entered here on 8th Aug and have a duration till 9th Sept. My B-Visa is valid till 22 Aug since it was issued on 24 May. I have got an employment offer and the employer said i have to exit so that they can apply for my Work visa or Residence permit may be for about 3-4 days to any nearby country. I would like to know more about it and how does it work. If i go to Dubai, i understand i have to get a visa  for it? Do i really need to exit like what they said? Advice me please what to do.

Regards.

Ehsaan

Hi dear Ehsaan,

I had faced same issue with my friend and he going to UAE but without visa, Just he seat one day in the airport till get his qr visa approval,

I know its hard but I think the other way "Return to you country till you get approved for your new permanent visa"

I think if you are here by Business Visa, You can't get visit visa from here to UAE

You are ofcourse correct - It is a public forum and you are welcome to write / ask what you please..

I was voicing my opinion also. It is sometimes better to do your own research .. The answers on a public forum may not always be correct or best

Dear Sir,

Now a days it is not possible to transfer from Business Visit Visa to Permanent work visa therefore you have to exit the country.

It is advisable to go back to your home country and wait for the permanent visa.

If you want to go to UAE or Bahrain then you have to purchase 15-30 days tourist visa and two ticket. One genuine ticket to UAE/ Bahrain and another dummy to your home country.

@wild turkey Thanks for your swift reply. However i would like to state that since the copy of my visa is lying in front of me, the purpose of visit stated in it is WORK and visa type is stated as WORK-BUSINESS VISA. Yes you are right and i agree with you bcoz at the moment i am a layman about these things. I dont know anything about how things here work. I hope u understand what i mean.

There is no 'Business/Work Visa". There is a Business Visa. And there is a Work Visa, there is a Tourist Visa, there is a Family Visa, and a special Visa for investors. What you need to stay and work here is a Resident Visa. Business Visa cannot be converted to Residence Visa. You have to exit and come back on a work visa which allows you to enter Qatar. This Work Visa will then be converted into a Residence Visa (RP).
