Three eateries in Al Wakrah closed for serving expired food
Al Wakrah Municipality temporarily shut down three eateries within its jurisdiction for keeping and serving expired food products.
The closure is in accordance with an administrative decision issued by the director of Al Wakrah Municipality.
Thee eateries have been issued warnings to address the problems in line with health and safety regulations in order to prevent causing any harm to the health of customers.
Inspectors from the health control department at the municipality detected the violations at the eateries as part of inspection campaigns aimed at ensuring the compliance of food establishments with standard health and safety rules in line with applicable laws.

It serves absolutely no purpose if the culprits are not named and shamed. It is self-praise of the wonderful work the Municipality is doing. Obviously they need that.
