Housing advise

Hi.

This is my first post...:-), I will be moving to Doha soon and we are currently looking for housing options (online search is quite subjective), I will be commuting from Doha to Ras Laffan on a daily basis and I have heard that the traffic can be a nightmare, and of course I don’t want to be stuck in the traffic for 2 hours every day. Do you have any advise regarding a good place to live in the northern part of Doha which could make my commute to Ras Laffan easier?, off course with amenities and services nearby.

We are a family of three with a 2 yo baby, budget is around 15K max.

Thanks for the help.

 Mark.

Wakrah is in the South of Qatar. Al Khor is in the North. Clearly an advantage if you work in Ras Laffan. From Wakrah to Ras Laffan can easily take you an hour or more of dangerous driving.

Al Wakrah is the best place from my point of view , all decent folks prefer Wakrah ................... peaceful neighbourhood, a town with it's own beach & a near by park ..........
