The "laws" made by people are all rubbish. You can break them, after that you can negotiate with the Captain. If you break a law in physics you are dead immediately. That's what I call a "Law".
It is the wrong message. The laws are there to be broken. And you even get a discount on the penalty. It's nothing but weird!
acchabaccha: you are confusing issues I believe . I know an Indian gentleman who earns over 120k a month.. You can say he has notes bulging out of the pockets
Yes The Captain helps people - but in my personal opinion , too many times it sends the wrong message ... That you can break the law, go beg to The Captain and get away Scot free..
I have always praised these captains at whichever government department they are working for. I have met them personally several times at various departments.Their understanding. cooperation and the hand of help they extend, leaves people with high praise for them. Their lovely attitude and approach could only be understood and realized by people who are in great difficulty as is this case. Such acts of kindness to humans cannot be understood by people who have QR 500 bulging out of their pockets and do not know what to with them. I can see there are quite a few of them here.
Zachm: The Captain there to help those who transgress the law and then are able to plead innocence or poverty
Now everyone will be asking for favour and sight this example. Not so good news to the captain.
Once again The Captain comes to the rescue of the needy. Hats off to The Captain
more joys for you. Immigration authorities kindness in your case is really appreciated.
