No, TVs will not work eveywhere.
Your TV will work in UK but not US.
The current, voltage, frequency has to match.
If you switch it on in US, your TV is going to explode like dynamite.
In the old days there was the issue of PAL , SECAM, NTSC.. However since going digital, TVs will work eveywhere.
Of course it will, but you have to worry about tax, when you bring it through Customs
Qatar has the same current, voltage, frequency, and plugs as the UK. (Unfortunately!)
Check with the agents here of the brand of your TV. They should be the best guide.
