Qatar to host round one of the 2016 Motocross World championship

The FIM motocross world championship is finally here!!

A total of 70 riders from all over the world will join in the opening round of 2016 FIM Motocross championship and the first round of the FIM women's world motocross championship that's set for the 26th - 27th February at the Losail International Circuit Qatar.

During this season, Romain Febvre, the 2015 MXGP world champion of the Yamaha Factory racing team will defend his title against last season's runner up and also French counterpart Gautier Paulin of the Honda HRC team. The 2015 MX2 World Champion winner, Slovenian rider, Tom Gasjer will be joining the MXGP category.

Pauls Jonass of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, is the man to beat in the MX2 category while Kiara Fontanesi will try to clinch her fifth World title in a row.
