Quality Inspector – Euro Cast Engineering

Location – Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India

November,2015 – November,2017.

Responsibilites

·         Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the quality department,whilist ensuring that departmental targets and delivery schedules are met.

·         Closely monitoring and examining the final inspection of components.

·         Segregating non-conforming parts in accordance with written quality procedures.

·         Making sure that quality department employees follow documented procedures and standards.

·         Overseeing the identification of all parts/components used in the quality inspection process.

·         Returning faulty parts to team members who are responsible for them and assisting in corrective action plans.

• Ensure the health and safety of all workers under direct supervision.

·         Conduct the daily meeting to discuss about material productions.

·         Support production leads and operators for interpretation and methods following their set standards.

·         Using precision tools to quickly identify defective parts.

·         Ensures the Site Safety and Health Plan is prepared and implemented.

·         Exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts.

·         Investigate accidents that have occurred within incident areas.

·         In charge of archiving all quality related administrative records and then filling them.

·         Ensuring that the working area is hazard free and kept clean and tidy at all times.

·         Participating in all safety related training workshops organized by the company.

Professional Qualification:

Completed ASNT (NDT) Level II in

-          Radiography testing

-          Ultrasonic testing

-          Penetrant testing

-          Magnetic Particle testing

Completed Diploma in Oil and Gas Technology.

Academic Qualification:

·        Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in St.Xaviers Catholic College of Engineering, Chunkankadai, Affiliated to Anna University with aggregate of 7.4 CGPA.

·        HSC at Pius XI Higher Secondary School, Thoothoor with 80.4%(March 2011).

·        SSLC at Pius XI Higher Secondary School, Thoothoor with 87.4%(April 2009).

Software Proficiency:

·        Software known: Auto Cad, MS Office
