Kindly advise
Hi all,
I am in process to get the resident visa for my family and hope it will be done by 2nd week of Dec. My family is at Delhi, India. All CBSE schools like BPS, DPS, MES, and Shantiniketan etc for admission of my kids for 2016-17 session are asking for RP for my family and then only they will provide admission forms (that too is not sure). Kindly advise, is resident visa is not enough for getting admission forms? My problem is, from Dec the last semester (Dec to Mar) for schools will start in Delhi and in that case if I take my family here for RP process then they will not be able to sit for the tests. Kindly advise, is their any basis on which I can ask schools to provide me forms and then after getting admission test dates I can take my family here for a short duration and get that done.
Thanks
Satya
Yes that's the problem I am facing. Schools are asking for RP and without this they are not giving the admission forms.
Thanks Saju, but school ask for RP at the time of registration and admission. its their first demand. without student presence here, school will not give admission and student can't come here without VISA. so RP need first I think.
Put them in Pioneer Education Centre. They will cover the missed syllabus for u. In the mean time proceed with the completion of Permanent Visa Formalities. Once get admission, your child will be able to write the terminal exams as soon as school reopens.
To Contact Pioneer: Please call Mr. Abdul Gafoor Mob: 55313649

First get admission from school. RP is the second issue (tell school authorities that RP is under process). But your visa shouldn't be rejected. If rejected they will not allow them to attend the class.

My case is also same...my daughter is studying in CBSE school in India. Their session will end in March and admissions are already started here. Here the main problem is that schools don't have fixed date for admission. my children are in India, when should I bring them here for Admission? every school says, they can ask student to come here at any time. so, If I apply in 5 different schools, I have to bring them here 5 times from India?
I am in a similar situation with my family but with British schools, I believe the SEC regulation is that the day they start school they need to have their RP card. You can apply, they can provisionally offer you a place but they cannot go to school without their RP
