Expats can be real B###a###

The 25-year-old mother from India, who has not been named, confided in her husband after the attack by her neighbours.

But the Dubai-based construction worker messaged her saying ‘talaq’ three times – which means instant divorce under Sharia Law.

She’s been forced out of her home and her mother-in-law has taken custody of her young son.

She told the MailOnline: ‘When I read the message I went numb. I couldn’t believe what I had read. Just three words; talaq, talaq, talaq.

‘This is the last thing I was expecting from my husband of five years after I confided in him about what happened.

‘I felt violated. I thought that he would stand by my side through this, to help me through the pain of it.

‘But I was wrong. He took the easiest way out like a coward and divorced me with text message.’

She continued: ‘It took him five seconds to end a five-year relationship. And my mother-in-law who had stood by my side after I was raped and went with me to the police station to report the attack, suddenly changed her mind and took her son’s side.

‘Overnight I became an outcast from my whole family.

‘I could have survived even that, but then they snatched away my last hope – my only child. I have completely lost the desire to live.’

I had a five-year relationship with a Filipina. She ended it even without saying talaq, talaq, talaq. She just left.

In my opinion, if someone not required, there are many ways to get over it. Not necessary to hang on there. Surely there should be a way to you as well.

If someone requires help from another, it's about helping himself. Mean's if I don’t help, another will help and get the reward for hereafter.

(In my opinion the best judge between the problem is yourself) Third party human cannot find a solution between two personal. (This is my personal opinion). Coming out the problem should be in a creative manner, not in violence.

So it's rather better to choose the right path and have the life goes with whatever the difficulty, definitely as long as you are clear to yourself, you will be get rewarded one day. The patience is going to make your life easy.

Usually, when someone in deep trouble, you will find no solution can be made with anyone to your problem through a living creature. However creating yourself a peace of mind in ways of getting much closer to the God, can be surely found relief & rest.

Therefore, go back to the basics, and try to start your life according to, what the book says. I hope this will give you free of mind & after a while and you will be much more stronger in your life & in the future. Looking at your statement, I hope you can do that and you will be on the winning side and your husband will feel that he missed something he should preserved in his full life time.

There's no prejudice. Who am i being prejudiced against ?

I've been an expat a long time and so am one myself. I have also seen expats do a lot of stupid things when it comes to marriage and relationships etc.

Dear Britexpat, why did you write "Expats can be real B###a###"? I agree that this a very pathetic and cruel incident. What he and his mother in law have done to her is clearly unacceptable, but you don't need to generalize this with expats. Evil people are everywhere and this can happen in any corner of the world. I am very much surprised by seeing how much prejudiced you are!

I think both he and the mother in law need to be hauled up in court and punished.

This is really awful and sad!

But anyway she doesn't need a ba***rd like him

I hope she can get over the pain and recover, it is really disappointing how can people be cruel!
