Our Client, one of the Ministerial Offices in Qatar is looking to hire:

Job Title:         Engineer Land Acquisition – (Land Acquisition)

Reports to:      Expert Project Manager

Location:         Doha, Qatar

Education:       Bachelor degree in relevant field (preferred)

Job Summary

In order to support this a diverse and specialist team has been established and are working within the client’s office to support the management of land acquisitions for the expressway programme.  This is a critical programme directly related to the Qatar’s Infrastructure programme for hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Drive in the review of land acquisitions request and documents in accordance with approved processes
• Work with CAD/GIS Analysts to produce required plans
• Drive in data analysis, data collections and reporting
• Liaising with government bodies to ensure procedures are successfully implemented
• Drive in the follow-up of deliverables, and actions of the program processes.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years experience of which two years’ experience of handling land acquisition processes in Qatar (preferred)
• Knowledge of land acquisition policies and procedures
• An understanding of infrastructure and public realm projects
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English and Arabic (essential)
