you can apply as long as you are qualified. if you are shortlisted, then good luck to you.
if you are selected for the role, then negotiate fairly.
but if your experience is limited and not suitable, then dont bother sending your profile.
check google about qatar petroleum lay offs, they already finished their staff reduction but there are again rumors of further job cuts in the coming months due to very low global oil prices. also all QP subsidiaries will also terminate hundreds of staff as per their target staff reduction based on their slashed operating budgets for 2016... Come january 2016, hundreds to thousands will be unemployed. sadly, even if given an NOC, the visa applications of their new sponsors are also being rejected by immigration... another difficult time in qatar in the coming months.
Nope. Do not apply. Leave it to those who deserve it and do not ask stupid questions on QL.

@kitty let me tell you that working for QP has always been a dream for many. Its the same old nursery fable of "The fox & the Grapes" so don't get carried away. Thousands were sacked coz there was no productivity from their side. If you can prove yourselfto be competent then you can grow to greater heights. Believe there is NO guarantee even for a human life so in this world, so why worry. What has to take place will take place. :-))
They just sacked thousands of people, some say because they were not doing a good job. That should mean they now need to rehire a lot of people to try to improve performance.
