Edison International Academy

The Edison International Academy is a bilingual, co-educational Academy from KG to Year 9 . It offers an academically rigorous programme which, while remaining firmly rooted in the Arab heritage and culture, aspires to meet the highest international standards. The Edison International Academy welcomes students of all nationalities and backgrounds whose academic aptitude is suited to the education it offers.

The Academy promotes an appreciation of the students’ own as well as other cultures and faiths, thereby enhancing tolerance and mutual respect. Within its practices, the Academy models and fosters ethical behaviour and a sense of justice, equality and individual worth.

The Academy provides a stimulating learning environment with emphasis on learning as a skill and encourages the positive involvement of all its stakeholders. Students engage in intellectual, aesthetic, creative and physical activities to enable them to grow as responsible individuals towards themselves, the society and the environment. They are encouraged to become involved in service to the local and wider global community and to develop an informed awareness of national and international issues.
