@joseph17

- why they are asking for NOC?, you will come back Qatar as a TOURIST not for work purposes!

I just checked with two hotels. You can not apply for a tourist visa when you are in 2 years ban. They told me you have to get your NOC first.

I think any hotel or travel agency can provide because after all its an income for them. The only problem is upon entry in Qatar (hamad airport) because there is possibilities that immigration personnel may denied the visa. That's I'm afraid of.

Man! Just ring any of the hotels here and tell them if they can prepare your visa! Or even easier, call Qatar Airways and ask if they can arrange a visa for you.

-Well I'll try that one but not for now because I still need to do some research regarding this matter. But hopefully I can come back there through tourist visa.

Sabah, you can come for tourism. And you will have to apply before you come so there is nothing to lose. If you are rejected you will be told before you take the plane. And what proof do you want? Our immigration specialist just confirmed it to me now. is that fine for you?

The 2-year ban is on work but not on tourism, transit or medical visits. And yes I am sure about it.

How sure you are that I can come back Qatar through tourist visa? Did you already experienced such thing? Or did you knew someone who already did that? Please I really need an advice because maybe I will spend money but then it will just denied in immigration.

I am a US citizen and have been working here in Doha for over one year. I have a potential job offer coming to me from the US. If it goes through, I would then return home and be stationed there; however, the job would require me to return here to Doha every month or two for only a few days each time. Would I still be required to obtain an NOC (no-objection certificate) from my current employer in order to return for those minimal times?

And if you do what Sadaad proposes you are violating the laws of Qatar. If you get caught you can never come back.
