Hi everyone,

My wife is on family visit visa, and she is about to complete 6 months term! My question is that what do I have to do to bring her back to Qatar after a while for another 6 months term?? Is there a time restriction that she must stay out of Qatar for certain months? What is the Process and requirements!?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Rafi,

Yes you don't have to wait for 3 months before you could bring your wife back in a visit visa, however you would have to through the same process as you did the first time. The return visa is applicable if one has to leave the country due to some emergency when he or she is on a visit visa provided they would return to Qatar before the validity of the visit visa. Here in this case that does not apply for your wife since she is about to exhaust her visa duration.

@Patricka, dear Ive known that I do not have to wait 3 or 6 months period. Instead I could apply for the Visa the moment she exits the country.

@idreeskhan, dear I appreciate your detailed answer.. but for now I am trying to bring her back again for another six months terms. That means I do not intend to get RP for now.

Therefore, I asked weather I have to initiate the process of obtaining the visa from the start (similar to first time)? Or do I just visit the Immigration office and submit a RETURN VISA application and get it immidiately!!!

Sir this is not big deal, what you have to do, you can go to immigration office and meet with captain and request him for family visa extension. They have authority to extend up to 2 month but mostly they do only for one moth.

Second thing if you send your family back then there is no restriction or ban you can apply again visit visa and bring your family again to Qatar.

Here is complete process to convert visit visa to RP
