Processing RP Family Visa for Wife & Kid June 2015 - A Note...
For the Expats, Looking at Bringing their Family & to process their Resident Permit - A Small note for hassle free process....
Checklist
1. Ensure your have your Valid RP Card in the first place to Start with.
2. Ensure you have a SIX month Bank statement with not less than 10,000 QAR shown as Salary credit (If their is difference in amount of credit - Have the pay slips as well)
NOTE: In the same month, if TWO Salary credits are reflected, some people over the desk reject it & unless you are in Arabic Speaking - you can't reason out wink emoticon
3. Check your work permit designation in the RP & Whether they are entitled for Family Status plus you have to have the same JOB designation/profile in the Employment Contract as well.
4. Ensure your company will provide a NOC for bringing & processing RP for Family. For, Some companies disagree to provide.
List of Documents Required (The following can be submitted & Get them directly on RP VISA to save hiccups later. Once inside the country - they can proceed to Medical testing after 72 hours of landing & then fingerprint - Same day RP Issuance)
1. Your (Sponsor) Passport Copy with RP ID copy
2. Your Wife & Kid Passport Copy
3. Employment Contract Copy (DUly attested by labor Department in it)
4. Your Degree Certificate ATTESTED copy
5. Your Degree Certificate ARABIC Translated Copy
6. Your Marriage Certificate ATTESTED copy
7. Bank Statement for Last 6 months duly reflecting 6 Salary Credits
8. House Rental Copy (Even If provided by Company - You need to ensure that your housing provided by company is mentioned in the Salary Certificate issued by Company) needed (if its in Company Name, Have the Company Computer print out with Due authorized Signatory mentioned).
9. Kid's Birth Certificate ATTESTED & Health Card, If available
10. Salary Certificate from Company in Arabic which as well states your Accommodation Status plus NOC to bring your Family.
If Already you have brought them in VISIT VISA
11. Have a copy of the entry stamp page as well and while typing the application "State in country"

I had Accommodation provided by Company, So others who recently processed RP where Company didn't provide accommodation - please update any other additional documents that needs to be submitted.
Process
--------
1. Go to the Immigration office at Madina Khalifa | Prior to that - Have the
application typed in Arabic (here you can stay INSIDE country or they are
OUTSIDE)
2. Take the Originals as well of all the above documents (Have METRASH 2 enabled in your mobile to track status easily)
3. GOTO Gate 3 for Personal Sponsorship RP processing
4. Normal Time - MAX: 30 Minutes (Only Visit Visa Takes time, as its a different queue).
5. Try to have all the documents in shape at the first submission itself. For, If the application status is "Deferred" post submission due to improper records - its a long head ache.
6. If Deferred, Go back to same place - take the token for Missing documents "B" and enquire what's the missing document or concern? If some gaps, fix it.... wait for a week for your status to change!
7. Still Deferred, Go back to Same place - request for "C" token - its called committee or the Captain meet - stating I've submitted all due documents but no status change for long.
8. Captain will give actual update - as he gets to know more details from the system about your document status due to his level clearance sometimes other customer care MOI staff won't know. Post you make the due corrections, within a week max - your wife and Son RP will be approved. You need to pay 200 QAR per head for generating the VISA document to get them into the country for doing Medical, fingerprint directly and get the RP cards after paying the required amount based on the duration you need - 1 year / 2 or 3 years.
All Status and updates are through your registered mobile and METRASH, so ensure you have it active.
If they are on Visit Visa, they will change the VISA to RP, after which you can proceed to Medical & fingerprint.

NOTE: Now the RP process is a bit slow. So double check your documents to avoid delay in processing from your end.
If MOI rejects your application post submission for improper documents or you call off the application, there is 1 year ban for re-applying frown emoticon
So, Golden Rule - Just have the Documents properly before you are planning for applying for Family RP & If you are trying to be a Smart one... be prepared for the Hiccups.

2. my profession in RP is "Computer Engineer"
My company has approved my family status,but the problem is my qualification and profession, can i process my application, or to get approval which profession is suitable for family status and it should support with my Diploma qualification, so that i can request my company to change my profession in contract.

Once Medical Commission test is over and successfully updated in the system, you should receive a notification to the registered mobile within 2 to 3 working days to proceed for finger print.
Once Finger Print is done, normally within an hour or two, you get a confirmation for collecting your RP. You can go to the Immigration for getting your RP and you may decide at that time, whether you need 1, 2 or 3 years based on that - respective fee to be paid. (Only Card)

That's always there!! At-least if it helps some, I'm happy for that - At least we could save some traffic by avoiding frequent trip to MOI in this scorching heat :)

The Arabic Salary Letter should clearly mention your Salary, NOC for bringing family plus whether Accommodation provided by company or if HRA provided, details of the same.
Considering Accommodation is provided by Company, Ensure to have the building contract copy signed between the company and the landlord (No attestation needed) plus Company Print out to reflect the authorized signatory signed for the accommodation is listed in the company print out as well.
Thank you Mr. Ganesan.. It was really helpful. I have some doubts regarding the House Rental Copy provided by the Company. In case accomodation is provided by company, is it enough we just have to mention it in the salary letter (Arabic) along with computer card of company.. Is supporting documents needed from company like Flat details, House Rent agreement, Baladiya attestation etc. Also in the salary letter should it be mentioned as House Rent Allowance is provided or accomodation is provided? Your help is needed coz I will be applying soon & want to keep all docs ready

my daughter 1 year old is on visit visa and its converted to family residence visa, we went to immigration yesterday for the fees for family visa after that we went to medical commission but unfortunately the system is down.after medical commission what is the next step?
