Canadian Work Permit in Qatar! Is it true?

Doha_Resident
By Doha_Resident

Dear Friends
I have been seeing a Canadian recruitment office near Jaida flyover inside a small old villa building for the last 3 years.
They are assuring Canadian Work Permit on the following contractual conditions:
2 years extendable work visa with 35 U.S. Dollars per hour....5800 Dollars per month!
Free living with free electricity and water
After 6 months probation, one can bring family as well with kid's free education and medical from govt.

I am also seeing faces changing in the office time to time. All of the staff are white people!
Did anybody hear anything about this venture?
Pls share as if it is fraud then how come they are sitting here in the heart of Qatar?

They are charging QR. 1000 per case and no more than this amount. They say that they will get their full fee from the Canadian employer!

They claim several Canadian companies on their job list?
Pls guide!

They are not doing anything wrong . They are just looking for gullible people who will pay them good money for doing nothing

I like the humor and that is the reason I am keeping posting up.

May be these guys are being backed up by someone otherwise I still think it is very unusual to keep this fishy bzness for years and years....in the state of Qatar where laws are very strict!

The "Old faces" in office must have gone to Canada and working there now with free accommodation / water / electricity etc (ofocurse with other peoples money ) now new faces joined cause they also want to go to Canada :)

If you can work in canada, with 5800 dollars per month salary, you will be able to bring ur family with you right away. You don't have to wait 6 months. Your employer does not apply for your family visa. You have to apply for your visa as well as your family visa. I have not heard of any employer offering housing, water electricity. Should be a scam.

@doha resident....this is a fraud scheme that i can assure u 100%. yes, they charge very little as 1000 riyals but they will show their cruel face once u will pay them and they will take to u some other country then make u hostage.after that they will beat u to death unless ur family or others pay the ransom money.

and why u always mention all r "white people""?? don't judge people by their color..true identity doesnt reflect on skin color.

BTW if you're the same person with a BDS from a university from outside Canada - be aware that you will not be allowed to practice dentistry in Canada without going through at least a 2 year internship at your own expense in Canada and pass the national qualifying exam - the only dentistry degree holders that are recognized as being equivalent are US, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand and they must also pass the exam (the 2 year internship is not required to apply for the exam for these 4 countries).

Sign me up. As a Canadian, no employer would offer me these terms in Canada, let alone an unqualified expat. Great to learn I can get better terms here in Qatar! Perhaps I can even get a better salary as no one would have to go to the trouble of getting me a visa?

Go for it! What could go wrong?

The proper way to know is to "try it out"...and you will have an answer within couple of weeks....I suggest you to do that than waiting for peoples feedback.

Dear Britexpat

Question is still unanswered!

Did you visit them and checked for yourself?

If you did then only some intelligence could be derived from your answer!

It's a scam . Don't fall for it. Canadian government has strict rules regarding immigration and types of visas issued .

It would be better for you to go to the government site and apply from there .
