I am leaving Qatar for San Francisco, California and have too many suitcases-I can only have 5 max and I have 6. Is there a cheap way to send a couple of suitcases to the USA? Maybe an airline?
Yes, there is a cheaper way. Try contacting some cargo handling companies here and they will send you suitcases by air cargo. Once they have collected your baggage you should be able to receive them in the USA within two weeks time. Make sure you get hold of the "original" copies of the Air Waybill from the cargo company before you leave. The Air Waybill should also give you the details of the airline through which your baggage will be arriving at your city. It will also help you keep track your baggage.
