Schooling in Qatar - Is it really difficult?
I have experienced that some of the New Generation schools are creating artificial demand . Thereby Conductiong exams and earn money out of it. Say if a school has 100 seats, they conduct exams for 1000 students and collect 300 QAR from each student (100 QAR as Application fees & 200 QAR as Assessment fees from each student) - which means School earns easy money from 900 parents for nothing. And now if this exam could have been justified if they are conducting for higher classes- Just imagine the genunity behind the intentions if the Schools are doing this for a Grade 1 Student.
Fun Part is Now by mid April - Classes are started and for 1 or two left our seats the Schools continue to conduct exams to earn money & keep the students & Parents on Waitlist for weeks together!! Easy Money for Schools!!
Really painful experiences from some new Indian Schools in Doha
come on - they don't sell INR 50 Book for QAR 50 !!! Be reasonable while criticizing and truthful while posting .. If you are admitting kids to Indian School then obviously the Books will come from India only, who will print them in Qatar for you ???
I had the same experience, one of the school I went to took 100QR for prospects and I don't know that's for what. lol
Yeah ...all the schools here are money making machine. they bring books from India and sell them in Qatar Riyal with same price as india (50 INR they sell for 50QR ). the funny thing, indian price is printed on these books :)
