I like how people report posts based on their "feelings" towards the post, regardless whether the comment has anything offensive, abusive, falsified information etc. in order to be flagged.

Children are not allowed to apply for a permit. A grown-up has every right to decide for himself, theoretically. If the 'boss' thinks he can refuse the letter change the company, because your boss is an a66hole.

Yes it is possible. The reason people don't do it often is because you have to ask for a paper from your company allowing you to apply for an alcohol permit which can be a hassle for most since a) practically everybody in your company will know you drink alcohol b) (what if) your boss might not like it and not give you his clearance.

Dear ataperla, It is possible. I have some acquaintances who do have QDC Liquor permit, who are Muslims. I am not sure how they get it and what the criteria is. Yet, it is advised not to make a habit of alcohol consumption. Though, it is your personal decision and of course, you can make your own choices. Thanks and have a good day.

Drinking is not a Crime ,But drinker might create a crime when he get drunk too much...However Alcohol is not prohibited in Qatar but it's strictly controlled to the authorized Sole Distributor QDC, you need a permit from your sponsor to get it legally, otherwise go to a permitted five star Hotel/club if you need to have fun for a day/night..

A real Muslim wouldn't support this even if he doesn't pay or not.

That's how it should be. he doesn't want you to be drunkard and waste money on it. instead use that money for something good. do some charity or send to your family back home and make people happy around you.
