AUDI RECORDS 333% GROWTH FOR A8 IN QATAR
Doha, March 25th, 2015 - Q-Auto, the official dealer for Audi in Qatar, has reported impressive year-on-year sales in the country. The best performing model year to date is the brand’s flagship A8 model, achieving a phenomenal 333% growth in sales compared to the same period last year.
The prestigious A8 models has set new standards in the automobile industry in terms of functional design, progressive technology and advanced engineering. Its 4.0 V8 TFSI engine boasts outstanding efficiency combined with optimum performance. Packed with a highly advanced infotainment system, the luxury sedan offers a spectacular driving experience.
In addition to the exceptional sales results of the A8, the brand has also experienced a significant amount of year on year growth across a number of models in the Audi line up. Another top achiever in the sedan category range includes the Audi A6 with a 12% growth in sales compared to the previous year. Moreover, Audi’s world renowned SUV models have also increased in sales by 16.7% for the midsized Q5 and 14.3 % for the compact Q3. Adding to the brand’s overall achievement, Audi Qatar experienced a record 25% year on year growth in 2014; with the increment representing the strongest growth for Audi in the region, supporting local trends for an increasing preference for the brand and popularity amongst the local community.
Commenting on the sales figures of Audi, Ala Makey, Audi Qatar Sales Manager, said, “We are thrilled with the remarkable sales turnover that Audi has achieved, the year 2015 has most certainly kicked off to a good start for Audi Qatar. Audi Qatar foresees an even higher growth achievement this year, due to a number of exciting product launches and an all new after sales service center set to open in the second quarter of 2015.
