What's going on in QATAR towards HOUSE RENT? It is manipulated by some broker to make TREND higher side since last 2/3 months! Every where in Qatar no pay raise, no increments, no subsidy! Petrol price was fallen and if so the reason behind then why our Housing Department is not taken any action for those brokers who just explode country's reputation!!!

This country wants to recover all with in 4 years of Time span under any circumstances and this myth must be need to rectify!!! Sir, we need your valued attention towards the same as we are now in #1 in the world as per GDP. BETTER HELP, BETTER QATAR, BETTER GENERATION.

We must not be money minded 24/7 .......... Just be content with what's left after we eat & save from what our generous Sheikh provides us month after month ...... .....

I met my landlord once. I live on a large compound and a 25 year old Qatari in a car worth 1,500,000 Qar (Lamborghini Aventador) was there. Lucky him, I thought. All he has to do is increase the rent another 5% and he can buy another Ferarri without even lifting a finger.

Redbee, thanks for your conversation! you seems to point out a good conversation. Most of the landlord are QATARI we presume! That means there should not be any limits or parameter from MINISTRI OF HOUSING towards HOUSE RENT, all will be decided by the Landlord!!! If so then what is the function of HOUSING DEPARTMENT? Do you know the Government House rent are been fixed for QR. 3000.00 fro Junior & QR. 4500.00 for Senior staffs? For your information, I am not blaming Brokers just to remind them not to be over professional to dictate terms!!! Read my all communications you find your own answer!

You areright redbee. The rent is high because the Qataris who own the property can make a big income by staying in bed. But people are too afraid to say this, instead they want to blame the brokers. Look at what's happened at Barwa City - the rents have gone up by 30% overnight. Not because of brokers but because of a Qatari company that just wants to make more money from rent.
