Career Highlights:

Technical review of Drawings and check for conformance to the Contract, Specifications and required construction methodology.

Working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists

Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction;

Prepare, Monitor & Review submittals: materials, method statements, shop drawings, progress reports, execution plans, etc… Propose alternate solutions for ambiguous items without compromising the project change management protocols and quality

Attend all designated meetings in house, with the client or nominated representative, with sub-contractors, designers and on site

Develop and maintain the project schedule and distribute information in a timely manner to ensure that full compliance to the contract is adhered to.

Manage and monitor all sub-contractor's work for compliance to their contracts

Liaise with the planning department in regards to design, engineering, production, logistic and installation scheduling

Liaise with the commercial department and the Project Quantity Surveyor on all variations and cost implications

Liaise with the procurement and production departments on all technical procurement issue

Prepare, monitor and track all PCO's (Proposed Change Orders) and CO's (Change Orders)

Prepare Daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for submission to Senior Management and client

Coordinate the flow of information between sub-contractors

Ensure in coordination with Site Engineers that execution of works are to the required quality and safety and resolves all technical problems for all trades.

Anticipate standard solutions, also prepare & follow-up technical queries with the Client/Consultants

Attending ISO quality audits and confirming all required documents.

Arranging third party tests for the materials & mockups, concrete defects.

Coordinating with Post tension designers to convert slab design from RC to PT and getting approvals from third party consultants. Also get clearance from MEP division, Architects and other firms.

Preparation of technical proposals for tenders, tender invitations, comparison sheets & quotations.

Review contract documents & advise the Project Manager on technical matters affecting construction and time costs

Supporting tender team by providing reports for actual site productivity rates, construction difficulties, equipment requirements and quick analysis of tender project according to documents.

Procurement of materials as per site requirements – Rebar (BBS optimization), Form work materials (as per drawing qty), Concrete (exact qty & pump details) and arranging temporary site logistic requirements.

Preparation of look ahead schedules, site logistics plan, crane schedules, MOM, delay analysis, site diary, production reports, purchase orders.

Collaborate with quantity surveyors to prepare and submit the monthly internal payment requests.

Managing site rebar productions, rebar wastage, form work materials handling, concrete pumps, placing booms and other heavy equipment requirements.

Inspecting core wall climbing systems, scaffolding platforms and supervising post tension slab stressing & grouting.

In-charge to get approvals from consultants for pre-pour inspections of post tension slab, slip form work systems, loading platforms and temporary structures.
