DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required and labour involved.
· Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure.
· Monitor and keep track of project progress and are responsible for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments and the final account.
· Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered.
· Prepared weekly/monthly progress reports for submission to the consultant.
· Conversant with conditions of contract such as FIDIC and method of measurement such as POM (I) and CESMM.
· Prepares and submits the interim payment applications in accordance with contract payment mechanism and procedures ensuring that all executed works are measured and claimed immediately at the end of each interim payment period.
· Prepare list of materials to be purchased as schedule and advising on procurement strategy.
