Maternity Leave after resignation

Can I combine notice period and maternity leave together after resignation OR I am not eligible for maternity leave once I resign OR I have to submit my resignation after I rejoin from maternity leave.

Please advise if someone has any fact related to my query

I would suggest resign after your maternity leave, for a graceful exit, as it shows that you want to be a mother rather than an working employee.
