Is it a decent salary to move from India
By ranjaysarda •
Hello ,
I have an offer of 18500 QAR pm. I stay in India at present and i make close to Rs. 1.25 lakhs per month here in India. I am married and my wife is a physiotherapist. Kindly suggest, if it will be a good move to change my base.
2 room Accommodation = 7000 in the city, 4600 outside the city
Food for you wife and one kid = 2000 without hoteling
School for one kid = 1000 indian schools (5000 for british schools)
small car expenses avg = 400 big car 500 - 1000
medical = 300 (safer side otherwise medical is free here)
Check first the base of company....compare with indian 1.25L package will be ok...here job stable not like India.
Thank you engrraza and others for commenting on this, however if someone could give me a break up of the avg. monthly expenses, it would be really helpful.
Also, would you have any idea about the country exit policy?
Each person has their priorities, if only making money is ur goal, than u r welcome to qatar. but if u want to be with our family and give ur children proper education with feel of indian culture than u should not come here
It would be a wise move if your wife also planning to work here. Accommodation and all other expenses going to cost you about 8 to 10k. so you can calculate yourself with the help of www.xe.com :)
Yes I agree with …make sure that you attested the educational certificates before you join your new company…For attestation & translation purpose please contact to sheenservices wll.. website:http://sheenservices.com/contact-us.html-44366147/55974495
The important aspect is what is your profession and have you been offered a reasonable package. Shifting to Qatar at the salary mentioned is advisable.
total expense here is only 6000. With Indian rupee crashing against dollar what are you waiting for?
Hi, total expenses for a short family here in Qatar are about QR 8,500 to QR 9,000 (House rent, Food, Transportation) except School of kids and luxuries. Now, if the remaining saving is about 3 times of your current saving in India then its a wise decision otherwise no. (this is my opinion anyone can disagree)..
