Ordering from Amazon
By the_center •
Hello everyone!
I would really appreciate if anyone could share their experience with ordering from Amazon.Com.
So I ordered a book and it was supposed to arrive on Dec. 2 (maximum) but I haven't got anything. I am aware that Qatar does not have a Zip Code, however, I thought that PO Box was enough (apart from my complete address and mobile #). When I was in UAE, I often ordered stuff from Amazon.Com and never encountered any problems. I love buying stuff from them and I would love to keep on doing so, but, is there a solution for this?
Thanks a lot! God bless us all!
Miss, actually! :-)
Thanks y'all for the replies. Much appreciated.
I read about the Shop & Ship service that Aramex has. I think it's very good! Just gotta get yourself signed up with a 1-time fee of $45 (but with a promo code, it will only be $10). They'll provide you with a physical address in various countries such as: USA, UK, Singapore, India, etc. This will allow you to shop through any online sites based in any countries they have business in. Your purchases will be sent to the address they provided you and they (Aramex) will pick it up and send it here (at your doorstep!). The rate calculator in their website is very helpful too. 1kg from US, for example, will cost you QAR78. Not bad at all... Unless there will be other surcharges/hidden charges we won't be told about.
also sir, if your address is incorrect, then forget your item. It's gone
@Afrozmohamed not always. mine arrived in 13 days :)
and @the_center they do not ship to qatar po box, its done via carriers like FEDEX DHL aramex etc. Shipping charges suck.
Once I ordered from Amazon it takes more than 50 days. You will get if you gave right address.
you can send a complain to amazon.com on this link... http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=gw_m_b_he_c?ie=UTF8&nodeId=508510
