For Indians: Police clearance certificate for work visa

Hi All,

I finally got my entry work visa. These were the documents I needed to apply for residence permit.

1. Qatar embassy attested Eductional documents

2. 6 months validity for passport with a minimum of 4 blank pages

3. Medical exam after reaching qatar.

I am coming from India, Do we need the police clearnce certificate as well. I heard for other countries we need that[Got this information from forums only].

People who came recently on workvisa from India Do let me know about Police clearance certificate.

No need untill your company asks for it .......... Never pass on a road where you know there is a police station ......................... ..................................
